Description

IHS Markit reported that Midland, Texas-based Colgate Operating LLC completed a Delaware Basin-Wolfcamp well in Reeves County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. Located within the Pecos city limits, #1H Cantaloupe Mipa Unit flowed 1.451 Mbbl of 46-degree-gravity crude, 4.529 MMcf of gas and 4.386 Mbbl of water per day from fracture-stimulated perforations at 11,082-17,223 ft. The flowing tubing pressure was gauged at 2,575 psi during testing on a 36/64-in. choke. It was drilled to 17,345 ft and is in Section 8, Block 5, H&GN Survey, A-926, and bottomed to the east in Section 6 at a true vertical depth of 10,520 ft. The company has filed permits for a number of horizontal Phantom Field tests in the area including the offsetting #1H Ramses Mipa Unit.
